Gentlemen, once again it's nearly time to descend on the hallowed turf of Vilamoura for a few days of beers, sunshine, beers, club sandwiches, beers, banter, beers, G&T's and a little bit of golf. Some good, some brilliant, some awful. Applies to both the golf and the banter.

A huge day in store, the first time in 5 years that Thursday has been a full day for scoring. Today will be 3 x 6 holes, straight match play, full handicap. The captains have chosen their parings secretly and it's thrown up some box office crackers.....
